Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a knack for adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an SEN Teacher in an Ashford SEN & SEMH school.

We are committed to providing inclusive education and support to students with a range of SEN & SEMH. We are fully dedicated to helping young people and their specific needs which include Aspergers Syndrome, Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, Tourette’s Syndrome and other sensory and communication disorders. We believe in creating a nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.

The Role:

As a SEN Teacher, you will work closely with experienced SEN professionals to deliver tailored learning experiences for students with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. The delivery of lessons under the guidance of lead teachers
  2. Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  3. Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions
  4. Collaborating with SENCOs and other staff members to create inclusive learning environments
  5. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team

Requirements:

  1. Teacher training: QTS/ QTLS/ BA degree/ PGCE
  2. A genuine passion for working with students with SEN
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
  5. Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic educational setting
  6. A willingness to learn and develop professionally
