Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Telford, supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide tailored support to pupils with Autism, helping them engage in learning and social activities.
2. Assist the class teacher in managing challenging behaviour with patience and empathy.
3. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students.
4. Collaborate with staff and parents to meet individual pupil needs.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with children with Autism and/or challenging behaviour (desirable).
2. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
3. Resilience, adaptability, and a compassionate approach.
4. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are a plus.
