JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBLE TO: SEN Link Officer
JOB PURPOSE
As part of an area team, responsible for the management, organisation, and implementation of statutory requirements for children with special educational needs, including assessments, statements, annual reviews, amended statements, and transition plans.
Make administrative arrangements for special education provisions specified in statements.
Liaise and work cooperatively with parents, Medical Officers, social services personnel, principals, teachers, EA officers, and educational psychologists regarding children’s special educational needs and provision.
Attend meetings, prepare reports, and provide written information as required.
Supervise administrative procedures in relation to main duties below.

General
