Job description

Are you passionate about holistic education and making a positive impact on special needs pupils? We're seeking PSHE Teachers to join SEN Schools in West London.


Required: PSHE Teachers

Salary: £180 - £240 depending on experience and teaching scale

Hours: Typically 8:30 - 4:30

Full Time: 5 days a week

Type: Temporary to permanent positions


Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver engaging PSHE lessons adapted to the needs of SEN students.
  2. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
  3. Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning difficulties.
  4. Collaborate closely with colleagues and specialists to meet the individual needs of students.
  5. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student development.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified teacher status with expertise in PSHE education.
  2. Previous experience working with SEN students, ideally in a special school environment.
  3. Strong understanding of SEN needs and effective teaching strategies.
  4. Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  5. Right to work in the UK.
  6. Ability to work with teenagers in challenging environments.
