Semi Senior Accountant

Semi-Senior Accountant required to join a well-established firm of chartered accounts based in Harrow, on a full time, 09.00 - 17.00 permanent basis. They provide a range of services to their clients, from bookkeeping and general accountancy to business planning and fantastic tax advice.

Semi-Senior Accountant Position Overview

1. Prepare accounts for all our clients - sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
2. Preparing VAT returns and preparation of company accounts primarily
3. Bookkeeping
4. Liaise with HMRC and ensure client accounts are up to date
5. Liaise with clients on a regular basis to ensure they are kept up to date

Semi-Senior Accountant Position Requirements

1. Previous double-entry bookkeeping experience
2. Software: VT, Xero for bookkeeping, TaxCalc for final accounts and tax work, CCH for practice management
3. Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. The successful applicant will be hands on within the small firm and will be happy to undertake a range of bookkeeping, accounts and VAT duties to meet the clients' needs

Semi-Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

£30-35,000 per annum dependant on experience

9am-5pm - office based position
