A popular accountancy group are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Preston office on a full time, permanent basis. Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting client portfolios, working closely with senior staff, and developing your skills in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements to a high standard.
2. Supporting the preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
3. Helping clients adopt and use cloud-based bookkeeping software.
4. Guiding and supporting junior team members with day-to-day tasks.
5. Contributing to our community initiatives, from local events to charity support.

Experience with IRIS and XERO would be ideal!

Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

1. At least 2 years hands-on experience in a UK accountancy firm.
2. AAT Qualified or Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent), - study support available!
3. Solid knowledge of accounting, tax, and financial reporting processes.
4. Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
5. Experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QB).
6. Enthusiasm for community involvement and a willingness to learn and collaborate.

Semi Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

£25,000 - £32,000 dependant on skills and experience.
25 days + bank holidays.
