Semi Senior Accountant

A cloud and tech focused accountancy firm based in Bury, Greater Manchester are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their vibrant office on a full-time permanent basis. This is a varied accounts, tax, and bookkeeping position within a modern firm who are well established in the mid west. They are offering an excellent ACCA study support package and guidance to budding Accountants with 3-4 years experience in practice so far.

Semi/Senior Accountant Job Overview

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing Limited company accounts
2. Training clients in the use of cloud accounting software in-house and at client's premises
3. Corporation tax preparation
4. Outsourcing tasks, including bookkeeping
5. Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
6. Key part of the accounts team - This includes bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns, as well as ad-hoc advice.

Semi/Senior Accountant Job Requirements

1. 3 years experience working in a UK accounting firm
2. Experience in preparing year end accounts
3. Excellent cloud based knowledge with Xero
4. Either AAT qualified and studying towards ACCA qualified PQ, studying, or working towards AAT - study support available
5. Excellent communication

7. Based locally to Bury, Manchester

Semi/Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

Based in Bury, Manchester
£27,000 - £37,000 per annum dependant on experience
Study support for ACCA
Hybrid working after probation
