SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield | Psychology Degree or SEMH Experience Essential

Location: Enfield, London
Position: Full-time (08:30am - 16:00pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £89 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students in Enfield. This role is ideal for graduates with a Psychology degree or individuals with previous SEMH experience who are looking to develop their careers in educational therapy, mental health, support work, or teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing support to class teachers in the classroom
  2. Assisting children with SEND and SEMH needs in 1:1 and small group settings
  3. Supporting students across KS1 – KS5, both in and out of lessons
  4. Monitoring interventions and recording student progress
  5. Setting individual learning and development targets

Requirements:

  1. A degree in Psychology or proven experience working with SEMH students (essential)
  2. Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service
  3. Right to work in the UK
