Location: Walsall

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £90 - £120 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing

Monarch Education are excited to be working with a school in the Wolverhampton area who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Sports Coach. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, making a real difference to the lives of students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering sporting activities to suit the needs of a wide range of SEMH Students.
  2. Manage and support students' behaviour, helping them build self-confidence and reduce disruptive behaviours.
  3. Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Adapt activities to support different learning abilities, ensuring that each student has a positive experience.
Requirements:
  1. A relevant degree or qualification in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field.
  2. At least 6 months of experience in a sports coaching role, ideally with experience of working with students with SEMH needs.
  3. Excellent knowledge of sports coaching techniques and methods, with the ability to adapt these to meet individual needs and abilities.
  4. An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to get one through us.
