We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated SEMH Sports Coach to join a great school in Blackburn, offering a full-time, immediate start with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage outdoor sports sessions for students with SEMH needs
- Develop activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and mental well-being
- Create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all students
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to monitor student progress
- Encourage positive behaviour and help students develop social skills through sport
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with students who have SEMH needs
- Strong background in sports coaching, ideally with outdoor or adventure activities
- Enthusiastic, patient, and a positive role model
- Ability to engage and motivate students with varied abilities
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
