Position Details:

• Role: Physical Education Teacher
• Location: Okehampton
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Full-time, temp to perm
• Pay: £171.71 - £234.08 per day + SEN Allowance + Travel Expenses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH.
• Foster a positive and safe learning environment.
• Encourage personal development and teamwork through sports and physical activity.
• Collaborate with support staff and other educators to meet individual education plans (IEPs).
• Actively support the social and emotional well-being of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with students with SEN/SEMH is highly desirable.
• A passion for physical education and inspiring young people.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
