Self Employed Delivery Driver - Multi Drop - Courier

*b-spokes* provide multi-drop delivery services for market leading brands within our industry, so there is no shortage of parcels to deliver. We pride ourselves on being one of the UK’s largest independent family-run delivery companies, which makes us different from our competitors.

At b-spokes we are specialists in last mile deliveries, we are seeking new and experienced delivery drivers to fulfil our parcel delivery requirements across Glasgow, Ayrshire and Lanarkshire.

*What we’re offering:*

1. You will be given full on-the job training for 2 days, however if you still require support then we are happy to accommodate this until you feel confident.
2. We engage all drivers on a self employed basis to provide a delivery service to us, you are paid for the service you provide at an agreed rate.
3. You can opt to hire a van from us from as little as £49.02 per week (owner drivers also welcomed).
4. You can take your van home and can be used for personal use.
5. Delivery services are required Monday-Saturday.
6. Each driver is given a designated route within specific postcode areas. We give you the freedom and flexibility to plan your own delivery route.

Within that route you can realistically deliver between 20-30 parcels per hour, depending on your capabilities and experience. Drivers are normally asked to deliver c. 160 parcels a day.

All our routes are reviewed to ensure they have the right blend of mileage and parcel volume to ensure all drivers can earn a good living wage from their deliveries.

*Your life as a b-spokes Delivery Driver*

Your day is what you make it - approaching it with a positive attitude and drive will deliver you great results.

You will be based from our depot in Airdrie, ML6.

You will scan your parcels and load your van.

You’ll use your own phone, to plan your route and set customer ETA's via our parcel delivery app – so there’s no awkward technology to worry about.

Once you’re on the road you will deliver and collect parcels, taking delivery photos and verifying your location, all via the app, to ensure safe and secure delivery of the customers’ parcels.

*Essential:*

1. Full UK driving Licence held for at least 4 years.
2. Maximum points (6).
3. No DD, DR, CD or IN for insurance purposes.
