What you'll bring to the team

Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Leatherhead Road, Chessington, Surrey, KT9 2NE

Here at Chessington World of Adventures, we are recruiting for a Security Team Leader to join our Operations team!

In this role, you will report directly to the Security Operations Assistant Manager, ensuring the smooth running and safe operation of the Security Department daily, while supporting and motivating a team of Security Guards. If you want to work in one of the park's most challenging environments, then this could be for you!

You will reflect the highest standards of safety, guest care, presentation, and professionalism through effective leadership and team development. This role focuses on staff retention and protection of assets at the Resort through role model behavior, training, and good knowledge of the resort's processes and procedures.

Working closely with the Security Team and other departments across the Resort, you will create, implement, and manage procedures to ensure a smoothly run operation, guaranteeing Health & Safety and guest experience are never compromised.

Qualifications & Experience

• Over 18 years of age.
• An active, in-date, and maintained SIA license (Door Supervisor Level 2).
• Great administrative skills, with experience in the use of Windows operating systems.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate with all types of guests and staff.
• Leadership experience, with a wealth of Security experience.
• High level of motivation, both self and in a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to remain calm in high-pressure incidents, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle a high workload.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early shifts, late shifts, nights, weekends, and bank holidays to support Resort operations.

Pay Range

GBP £13.58/Hr.
