Security officer - saturday only

Job Description

Shift Pattern: Saturdays only 0730 - 1930
Pay Rate: £12.83 + Overtime Available
Average Weekly Hours: 12 hrs pw
Contracted Hours: 12 hrs pw
Employee Status: Part Time
Location: Leicester

Duties of a Security Officer will include:

1. Meet and Greet
2. Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
3. Manage all systems within the security control base
4. Ensure a vigilant, professional presence
5. Produce accurate reports as and when needed
6. Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager
7. Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client
8. Managing inbound and outbound vehicles
9. Conducting site patrols

Essential Requirements:

1. Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
2. Excellent customer care skills
3. Good knowledge of Health & Safety
4. Basic computer literacy
5. Basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
6. Good observation skills
7. Flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns

In order to work for Samsic you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

1. Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
2. Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum of 12 months
3. Fluent in spoken and written English
4. Five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
