We are currently recruiting a full-time Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile site in Middlesbrough that plays a vital role in the UK’s gas supply network.

The Role

As a Security Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team working to protect a key national infrastructure site. You will always work alongside another team member, providing support and ensuring the highest level of vigilance and professionalism.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting regular patrols of the site to ensure safety and security.
2. Monitoring and controlling access to the premises.
3. Responding promptly to alarms and incidents, following established procedures.
4. Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports as required.
5. Operating and monitoring CCTV and other security systems.
6. Communicating effectively with team members and site personnel to address security concerns.

Requirements

We are looking for motivated individuals with the following:

1. SIA Licence (essential).
2. Previous experience in a security role (preferred but not essential as full training will be provided).
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
5. A commitment to ensuring safety and compliance with all security protocols.
6. Must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle to ensure you can commute reliably to and from the site.
7. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
