Hours of work: 12hr various shifts pattern, including days and nights, 7 days per week

Salary: £12.50 per hour

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Supreme Guarding Services Ltd is an S.I.A Approved contractor which specialises in the provision of security solutions, facilities management & services, catering and properties management within the UK. Supreme values adaptability, collaboration, and commitment.

We are looking for Security Officers to be based on site at designated emergency accommodation sites for displaced peoples while the process of settlement is being reviewed.

You will be responsible for the safety of all residents, objects, and the building, either in person or through security cameras. This will be carried out through patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, regular building inspections, guarding entry points, and verification of visitors. The Security Officer will also respond to potential hazards, such as broken lights or doors, disturbances, lost persons, and minor injuries.

In serious emergencies, such as fires, crime, or medical incidents, you will secure the scene, summon emergency responders, help redirect foot traffic, and document the incident.

Role Criteria

• Experience in surveillance techniques or loss prevention methods.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles.
• Excellent communication skills within a diverse group.

Requirements:

• Security Clearance Certificate (preferred)
• SIA Front Line or SIA Door Supervision Licence (required)
