Duties and responsibilities related to the Security Manager role

1. Support the Director of Security in developing and implementing strategic security plans and overseeing security at the hotel, safeguarding our colleagues, guests, and the property.
2. Lead the assessment of security risks and implement measures to mitigate potential threats.
3. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to the security team, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
5. Assist in developing and delivering security training programs for all colleagues.
6. Stay up to date with emerging security threats and trends, and recommend proactive measures to address potential risks.
7. Oversee and maximise returns from contracted agreements and external partnerships.
8. Collaborate and work effectively with stakeholders from law enforcement, industry, and related organizations.

About you

Previous experience in hotel security management is essential, with extensive knowledge of developing and implementing security strategies, policies, and procedures. You will possess strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
