Job Description:
We have embarked on an extraordinary journey to create a new museum for London. The museum will sit in atmospheric former market buildings – over 30,000sqm – at the heart of one of the capital’s most historic and creative quarters, Smithfield. The New Museum project is one of the largest cultural projects in Europe and will transform the museum, Smithfield and the City of London.

The New Museum Security Lead will play a central role in the planning and mobilisation of operational security for the New Museum. They will work closely with the Head of Commercial & Visitor Operations to embed a new security strategy for London Museum. The role will be responsible for ensuring complete integration for new security systems, the creation and updating of new procedures and risk assessments, support and manage security contracts, assist in sectional handovers of the building and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting and focussed role with the opportunity to support and deliver a new Security operation within a major cultural venue. It needs a positive problem solver who has extensive knowledge of Security operations and can use that knowledge to build something from the ground up.
