About the Job

Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for part-time Security Guards in Cornwall, Ontario.

SHIFT:

1. Open Availability (Mornings, Afternoons and Night shifts).
2. Reception and Gatehouse Duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Enforce regulations of the establishments.
2. Visitor Access Control.
3. Maintain order, follow, and adhere to post orders.
4. Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
5. Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
6. Monitor security cameras.
7. Operate security control room equipment.
8. Patrolling.
9. Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
10. Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
11. Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
12. Report writing.

Qualifications, Required License, or Certification:

1. Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
2. CPR Level C Certified.
3. Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
4. Must be available to do shift work: Afternoon, nights & weekends.
5. Good communication.
