In this dynamic Security Officer position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Patrolling the building
2. Unlocking and locking areas
3. Managing both staff and public-facing desks
4. Monitoring CCTV systems while stationed at the security desk
5. Handling phone enquiries
6. Signing in and out visitors and contractors
7. Keeping an eye on fire and intruder alarm systems
8. Checking books and inspecting bags for hidden library material at the public exit desk
9. Responding to face-to-face questions
10. Conducting building patrols closely with another FM team member to follow a set schedule

This role operates on a rota system, with working hours spanning from 06:00 to 19:15 Monday to Friday and 08:45 to 17:00 on Saturdays, ensuring no more than 36.5 hours per week.
