My client, an electrical and mechanical contractor, is seeking a Security & Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team covering the West Midlands area. They are an established business, operating for over 30 years, with an excellent reputation.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the general upkeep of fire alarm systems across multiple sites
2. Inspection of premises
3. Conducting routine fire alarm maintenance
4. Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance (PPM)
5. Performing repairs and fixing faulty accessories
6. Carry out installation work alongside the projects and installation team.

Requirements:

1. Good knowledge of various fire alarm, safety, and security systems
2. Proven experience as a Security and Fire Alarm Engineer
3. Hands-on experience in working within the maintenance and service industry
4. Ability to read technical documents and drawings
5. Excellent approach to health and safety following all guidelines required
6. Full Driving License
7. Relevant Fire Alarm qualifications and FIA training
