Location: Chester & Surrounding - Travel within the region and occasional overnight stays required

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £35k basic DOE

Job Purpose: To support in service activities, including daily fault requests, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) duties, and out-of-hours (OOH) reactive duties for large-scale, high-end integrated systems from a broad client base. The role involves ensuring the site remains safe and secure, requiring flexibility, a 'can do' attitude, and occasional travel away from home.

1. Provide reliable, courteous, and efficient service.
2. Maintain a positive company image through high standards of dress and communication.
3. Close/update helpdesk after each service visit.

6. Adhere to company Management Systems.
7. Assist with the call-out rota.
8. Undertake any other duties as required by the Service Manager to deliver top-class service to the client.

1. Care, maintenance, and repair of complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems on public highways, shopping malls, custodial, and general areas.
2. Care, maintenance, and repair of functional and managed control rooms.
3. Care, maintenance, and repair of multi-site Access Control Systems.
4. Support and maintain Perimeter Detection Systems.
5. Complete planned preventative maintenance.
6. Occasional nights away.

1. Sound knowledge of CCTV, IT, and PID Systems.
2. Sound knowledge of Access Control systems with Site Mustering.
3. Sound knowledge of DVR & NVR systems.
4. On-site repair capability.
5. Desirable knowledge in areas such as PID’s, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUI, CEM Access Control, Synergy, Video Matrix Systems, IP Systems, Networks, Raid Recording, and first-line repairs on Gates and Barriers.
6. Analytical thinker with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
7. Confident and able to complete documentation.
8. Able to multitask and work to tight schedules.
9. Good at knowledge sharing.
10. Keen to develop new skills.
11. Good self-discipline skills (organised, reliable, self-starter).
12. Flexible approach to working practices and requirements.
13. Team player – offers support and knows when to seek help.
14. Strong customer and communication skills.
15. Good telephone manner that inspires customer confidence.
16. Full UK driving license.
17. Relevant experience; knowledge of the bus industry, CCTV, or electrical is desirable.
18. Full training will be provided.
