2-3 Months contract
Part-time 1-2 days per week or 3-4 days per week
£Negotiable Day Rate (Inside IR35)
Remote with Occasional visits to site in either Bristol or East-Midlands

My client, a consultancy, is looking for a Security Consultant to join their fast-paced team on a part-time 2-3 month contract. The selected candidate will need to understand the process involved in security-cleared projects/approaches in MOD and similar organisations. Due to this working nature, the candidate MUST HAVE ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE A SOLE BRITISH NATIONAL.

There are two potential routes for this position:

1. Route 1 - Senior Consultant Role - Overall bid security leadership - 3-4 days a week.
   On the job Details:
   
   1. Engagement with bid team and customer
   2. Work with Enterprise Architect, Service Architect and Third-Party Federal Services team to ensure US elements are fully integrated into solution.
   3. Ensure business compliance to customer obligations e.g. NIST along with other frameworks
   4. Provide Security Consultancy to bid team on compliance requirements
   5. Help (With Service Architect) design transition, transformation and run security operations and consultancy.
   6. Perform GAP assessments for standard company products e.g. MCN against customer security requirements
   7. Support Service Architect & Operations to design custom delivery solutions for UK specific network elements.
2. Route 2 - Consultant Role - 1-2 days a week.
   On the job Details:
   
   1. Support bid team with expert knowledge of industrial MOD networks up to and including SECRET.
   2. Detailed knowledge of applicable DEFSTANs and JSPs
   3. Interface to customer to provide credibility for Third-Party capabilities.
   4. Interpret HMG regulations into commercial realities for Enterprise Architect and Service Architect.
