Security Consultant

Security Consultant - Contract - 100% Remote

Our client is a market leader in IT solutions and services, helping customers manage and optimise their technology infrastructure. The team is expanding due to recent project wins. You will join the consulting team and create an Information Security Management System (ISMS) from scratch in alignment with ISO 27001 for a large multi-location client and also develop and design policies and standards.

As a Security Consultant, you will:

• Experience in implementing ISMS in alignment with ISO 27001.
• Understand the process of building or rebuilding an ISMS in accordance with governance, risk, and compliance.
• Develop policies, standards, and procedures from scratch.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of three years in security consulting, engineering, or testing.
• Security certification (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH).
• Strong understanding of security concepts, frameworks, and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and high professionalism.

Role Requirements:

• Experience in implementing ISMS and creating policies and frameworks.
• Understanding of NIST, GDPR, or other frameworks.
• Ability to advise, coach, and teach.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Consulting or MSP background.
