Security, CCTV, Fire, Access Control Systems Engineer

Your position will be as a Security, CCTV, Fire, Access Control Systems Engineer. This role may require you to work independently or collaborate with other experienced engineers. You will predominantly travel from your home address to client locations throughout the Midlands, and occasionally to other areas in the UK as needed.

Job Description

Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Carry out CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire, and Access Control System installations.
2. Provide day-to-day service, maintenance, and repair of Analogue, Digital & IP CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire, and Access Control Systems.
3. Complete planned preventative maintenance assigned to you via your PDA.
4. Assist with the call-out rota and travel as necessary.
5. Possess a sound knowledge of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire, and Access Control Systems.
6. Have experience in a range of the above systems.
7. Be independent, reliable, and willing to work in various environments.
8. Provide service support, reactive fault-finding, and maintenance for a range of intruder, CCTV, Fire, and Door Access Systems.
9. Be careful and precise while carrying out your day-to-day duties, with good communication skills for client interactions.

Salary & Pension

The agreed salary is £34,500.00 gross per annum. The business operates a pension scheme in line with legislation.

On-Call

The on-call rota is every six weeks, which can be amended if additional on-call is required or preferred. On-call/standby payment is £80.00 per week, with out-of-hours work paid at time and a half, door to door.

Overtime

Additional work is available upon request.

Transportation

A vehicle will be provided, fully stocked and racked out, with expenses covered. Personal use is permitted with prior agreement for long journeys. Specialist tools will also be provided.

Holidays

25 days holiday plus statutory holidays are available.

Working Hours

08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
