Section Manager

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Section Manager in London, working on the HS2 on multiple Rail and Civils packages for a Tier 1 contractor. They are looking for someone with extensive experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent with a major infrastructure or Railway background.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant delivery of works.
2. Ensuring quality standards are met across all work.
3. Providing adequate input in the design process of the project.
4. Procuring and delivering the ground reduction works.
5. Procuring and delivering the site establishment.
6. Maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
7. Analyzing and interpreting works information with an in-depth knowledge of specific contractors' scope of works.
8. Reviewing documents and paperwork in line with the project.
9. Reviewing Contractor on-site works compliance to commitments, HS&E, quality, programme, and innovation.
10. Identifying threats and opportunities, raising early warnings and compensation events in relation to the works.

Person Specification:

1. Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on major infrastructure or Railway projects.
2. Formal qualification in civil engineering or construction-related subjects.
3. Previous experience in a site-based construction role in major construction, infrastructure, or Rail projects.
4. Good understanding of project planning and construction methods.
