An established industry player is seeking a motivated Section Leader to manage highway infrastructure projects. This role involves overseeing the delivery of highway schemes, compiling contract documents, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. An opportunity has become available for a Section Leader (NEC4 Project Manager) working within the Design, Contracts and Delivery Section, providing Design, Contract and Construction Management on a range of infrastructure projects throughout Cardiff.
Design Contracts and Delivery are a rapidly expanding team and are instrumental in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects within Cardiff.
The post will be required to undertake NEC4 project management role and quantity surveying role within the Design, Contracts and Delivery section whilst also leading a small team in a profit-driven, high-pressure environment, delivering highway schemes for Cardiff and surrounding authorities.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can work as an individual or as part of a team to Project Manage highway infrastructure projects.
Some of the main requirements of the role will be:
The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience as Project Manager in delivering highway projects, experience of NEC4 ECC contracts, experience of programming and resourcing projects, and will have proven experience of leading a delivery team.
