Job description

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a supportive and dynamic educational setting in Poole to find a dedicated Secondary Teacher with QTS.

This part-time role offers an exceptional opportunity to work with students aged 11 to 16 who face challenges with their social, emotional, and mental health, including anxiety, depression, and attachment disorders.

As a Secondary Teacher in this setting, you will:

  1. Deliver engaging lessons and differentiated support to students with SEMH needs
  2. Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and supported
  3. Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop personalised learning plans
  4. Provide consistent emotional and academic support to ensure student progress
  5. Use effective behaviour management strategies to foster positive relationships
  6. Monitor and track student progress while maintaining clear communication with parents and carers

Your role is crucial in helping students build self-esteem, develop coping strategies, and engage meaningfully with their education.

  1. Fair and Competitive Salary: The full-time salary for this role ranges from £31,650 to £43,607 per year, with part-time pay calculated on a pro-rata basis, ensuring fair compensation for your hours worked.
