Salary: £88.84 - £105 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a passionate and dedicated Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school in Scunthorpe. Key Responsibilities of SEN TA:

  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting.

  • Assist students with their schoolwork and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with other staff to provide individual support for students.
  • Offer care and guidance to students when they need it.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to manage difficult behaviour calmly and professionally.
  • A commitment to keeping children safe and promoting their well-being.
  • A caring and understanding approach to supporting students.
  • A complete CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
