Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – Brighton

Location: Brighton
Salary: £90 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: Immediate

The Role:

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Brighton. This role involves working closely with students who require additional support, helping them to engage in their learning and reach their full potential.

You will:

  • Support students with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lesson materials.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Foster students’ confidence, resilience, and independence.
