Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will provide tailored education and support to secondary students with diverse needs, fostering their academic and personal development. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with SEND.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding practices.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally within a specialist or inclusive setting (secondary).
• Strong understanding of SEND strategies and behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
