Secondary SEN Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Secondary Teacher looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students with additional needs? We are seeking an empathetic and skilled teacher to join their supportive SEN team at a well-established school. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as a SEN Secondary Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a range of special educational needs.
• Implement strategies to support individual learning needs, ensuring that students can access the curriculum successfully.
• Provide a nurturing and structured classroom environment that fosters confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of the students.
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Ideal SEN Secondary Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience working with students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting.
• Is patient, understanding, and dedicated to providing an inclusive education.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills as a SEN Secondary Teacher.
• Is proactive in developing and implementing strategies for individualised learning.
• Has a passion for working with students with additional needs and helping them achieve their potential.
