Secondary PE Teacher

Secondary PE Teacher required - Birmingham - £1000 - £1250 per week

As a passionate and committed teacher, can you inspire young minds and foster a love of Art within your pupils using an engaging teaching style? PK Education are recruiting Secondary PE Teachers for two separate large-sized secondary schools located in the North & South Birmingham areas. The roles will start in February 2025 and they require an enthusiastic teacher with a positive attitude to teach GCSE level classes on a full-time basis. The successful candidates for these Secondary PE roles will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment. The school requires candidates to have extensive curriculum knowledge and experience in a similar role. The school has a strong leadership team in place supporting the improvement of attainment levels.

Essential for the Secondary PE Teacher role:

1. Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
2. Experience teaching KS3, KS4 & KS5 if possible.
3. Good classroom and behaviour management.
4. Extensive knowledge of the current curriculum.
5. Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
6. You will be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent's evening.

Additional requirements for this Secondary PE Teacher role:

1. Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
2. Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service or a current DBS check under our clearance procedures.

Salary and Benefits for this Secondary PE Teacher role:

1. Competitive rates of pay from between £39,000 to £48,750 per annum (AWR Compliant).
