Job description

Secondary Music Teacher - Secondary Teaching Role in Lincoln

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £130-£190 per day

Contract: Full-time, Part-Time, Monday to Friday

Start Date: 22/04/25

Simply Education is looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Secondary Music Teacher to support the music departments of schools based in and around the Lincoln area, with the possibility of day-to-day supply, as well as short-term and long-term and permanent placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and delivering interesting and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  2. Creating a classroom environment that promotes support and engagement for all types of learners
  3. Working in collaboration with your colleagues, senior leadership and parents to ensure that pupil development is prioritised and strengthened
  4. Promoting a positive learning experience by monitoring and supporting pupil progress

Candidate Requirements:
  1. PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  2. A strong passion for secondary education and a commitment to high-quality teaching
  3. Understanding of the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4
