Secondary Math Teacher – New Zealand
Start date: January 2025
Prospero Teaching is collaborating with a number of Secondary Schools across New Zealand that are eager to welcome Math Teachers for a January 2025 start date. The schools are interested in experienced New Zealand or overseas trained teachers, ideally those who have taught at the secondary level (Grades 3-12).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
- Eligibility to work and teach in New Zealand
- Received or in the process of applying for NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
- Received or in the process of registering for EC15 (Education Council)
- Willingness to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
- Ability to provide two professional teaching references covering the last two years
The Successful Candidate will:

- Exhibit drive and tenacity
- Be a strong team player
