Job Description:

Secondary Math Teacher – New Zealand
Start date: January 2025
Prospero Teaching is collaborating with a number of Secondary Schools across New Zealand that are eager to welcome Math Teachers for a January 2025 start date. The schools are interested in experienced New Zealand or overseas trained teachers, ideally those who have taught at the secondary level (Grades 3-12).

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor or Master of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
  2. Eligibility to work and teach in New Zealand
  3. Received or in the process of applying for NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
  4. Received or in the process of registering for EC15 (Education Council)
  5. Willingness to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
  6. Ability to provide two professional teaching references covering the last two years

The Successful Candidate will:

  4. Exhibit drive and tenacity
  5. Be a strong team player
