TimePlan are recruiting for a Qualified Secondary School English Teacher in Horley!

The successful teacher must:

1. Be a qualified teacher to UK standard (QTS)
2. Be passionate about teaching secondary-aged students (ages 11-16)
3. Have experience in planning and marking English lessons
4. Have or be able to apply for a DBS
5. Be able to work Full Time as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering engaging and informative English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
2. Planning and preparing lessons that meet the needs of all learners
3. Marking and assessing student work to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
4. Creating a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student growth
5. Supporting students with their literacy skills, encouraging a love of reading and writing

About The Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a strong commitment to planning and marking student work. You'll be ready to create an inspiring and supportive classroom where students can thrive academically and personally.
