About the opportunity: Everton in the Community is seeking to appoint a Secondary Education Manager who will be responsible for the whole of Secondary Education provision within Everton in the Community as part of the Children and Young People directorate.
This includes responsibility for Premier League-funded programmes including Premier League Inspires and other Secondary School-based funded initiatives including our Steve Morgan Foundation Community Impact Model.
The Secondary Education Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager for Education and Pathways to support the development and delivery of the Everton Learns strategy, and income generation across the Secondary Education area.
The post includes line-management responsibility for two Secondary Education Senior Coordinators, and Senior Coordinators for both our STEAM education and Pathways programme areas respectively.
As Secondary Education Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a varied range of school-based alternative educational programmes that seek to engage and inspire young people through a range of activities, interventions and initiatives in line with programme aims, objectives and outcomes. Developing and maintaining relationships with partner schools to ensure our programmes continue to meet the needs of schools and students through a targeted, bespoke approach.
You will inspire and motivate staff to engage positively with young people aged between 11 and 18 identified as being at risk due to disengagement from learning, low self-esteem, vulnerable to exploitation, at risk of being NEET or achieving their potential.

This position will be offered on a Fixed Term Contract until July 2026 covering a period of maternity leave, 35 hours per week with the role being based across the EitC Campus, Indoor/Outdoor Venues, Schools.
