Job Title: Secondary Ad Hoc Cover Teacher

Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £94 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or after Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time (Part-time can also be arranged for the right candidate)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt teaching styles to suit different student needs and abilities.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Provide feedback and report on student progress as required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and follow school guidelines.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Ability to quickly adapt to different subjects and year groups.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Availability for flexible cover assignments.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
