Job description

A local pharmacy in Bedford is now looking for a Second Pharmacist to join the team on a fixed-term basis, supporting the delivery of high-quality health and wellbeing services to the community during a maternity leave period.

In addition to prescriptions, the team readily offers a broad range of NHS and private services including Pharmacy First, vaccinations, emergency contraception, and more. Being close to local services, amenities, and public transport links, the pharmacy is a popular and well-equipped destination for people looking for a convenient, dependable place to get support for their healthcare needs.

In this role, you’ll be working alongside another Pharmacist, skilled support professionals, and a strong senior team to provide a consistently excellent pharmacy experience to a varied patient base.

This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract (maternity cover), 10-12 months TBD.

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Accredited MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification, or equivalent
  • (Essential) Valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • (Desirable) At least 12 months’ experience post-registration
