Title: Seasonal Ranger
Rate: £13.83
Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Shift Patterns: Alternated between 7.30am-4.30pm & 10.30am-6.30pm
Contract Length: End of September
DRIVING LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL
Key Accountabilities:
- Carrying out safety checks, housekeeping, and day to day grounds and building maintenance (e.g. litter picking, bin emptying, traffic management, vegetation clearance, and cleaning).
- Advising visitors on-site rules and safety.
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
Essential:
- Experience of handling health and safety in a countryside environment.
- Experience of working with the general public.
- Experience of grounds and building maintenance practices, techniques, tools, and equipment.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a wildlife/conservation/countryside environment.
- Dealing with visitor enquiries and issues.
- Assisting and covering for rangers as required.
