Seasonal Operator job required for Harvest 2025 in Berkshire
We are excited to offer a Seasonal Operator position at the B******Estate for the 2025 Harvest period.
The Estate covers 2,200 hectares within the beautiful North Wessex Downs AONB in West Berkshire, featuring a range of enterprises, including arable, beef, sheep, and organic poultry.
The arable enterprise grows a variety of combinable crops, including wheat, barley, oilseed rape, peas, and oats, over 850 hectares in a 5-year rotation. We are also involved in multiple SFI agreements, with companion/cover cropping, herbal leys, and environmental seed mixes playing an increased role in our business going forward.
We run a modern fleet of machinery, including a Rogator 32m sprayer, John Deere 8RX 370, Massey Ferguson/John Deere tractors, Kramer telehandler, and well-maintained cultivation equipment.

Accommodation will be provided free of charge via a fully furnished estate cottage, shared with our Harper Adams Placement Student. A hot meal is also provided for the team every night during harvest.
The position will run from early July until mid-September, but the finish date can be flexible depending on the candidate's circumstances.
We require you to hold a full, clean UK driving license and a valid telehandler certificate, as well as having at least one year of experience operating 150hp+ tractors.

A highly competitive wage will be offered to the right candidate.
40-90 hours per week, depending on weather conditions.
On-site accommodation is included - you would be responsible for electricity and heating bills only.
