Seasonal Factory Operative

Our client based on the outskirts of Haverfordwest is looking for Seasonal Factory Operatives to join their team. They are a great firm to work for locally having been operational for over 50 years and always look to offer opportunities to the local community.

Full training will be given on all areas of the production process, and no previous experience is required for these Seasonal Factory Operative positions. The company is fairly accessible being based just a 15 Minute walk from Withybush Hospital bus stop.

As a Seasonal Factory Operative you will be working within a high-quality food production environment within our client’s factory, which has a semi-automated production line.

Duties Will Include

1. Grading, packing BDUS and stacking trays;
2. Operating plant and equipment designed to sort, grade, wash and pack fresh produce;
3. Ensuring that products are packed, labelled and stored correctly;
4. Escalating problems with plant, machinery or product quality to a line leader, in a timely and proactive manner;
5. Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.

Hours of work are on a variable shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays. There is also an opportunity to work overtime for those who wish to pursue the opportunity.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates for these Seasonal Factory Operative opportunities who are hardworking and flexible, who want to work in a fast-paced and busy environment but also feel a part of a well-oiled team with a shared goal to succeed. The ability to work as part of a team is a pre-requisite as is having an eagerness to learn. Having strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are desirable to maximize success within the Seasonal Factory Operative role.
