Role Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Screening Nurse to join our team, providing on-site support to one of our clients in Glasgow. As a Screening Nurse, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and wellbeing of our clients' employees. If you are committed to delivering high-quality care, we want you to apply and become a valued member of the MCL team.

As part of the MCL Medics team, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Conduct health surveillance screening based on relevant occupational health risks, including skin, HAVS, lung, and noise health surveillance.
  2. Complete fitness certificates.
  3. Provide travel health advice (training can be provided).
  4. Administer immunisations.
  5. Perform pre-placement health checks.
  6. Conduct safety critical medicals.
  7. Carry out drug and alcohol testing.
  8. Offer general health advice.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. NMC Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
  2. Some Occupational Health (OH) experience.
  3. Vaccination experience required.
  4. Health surveillance experience preferred.
  5. Travel health experience preferred.
  6. Strong organisational and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Proactive approach to ongoing professional development.
