Job Description

Independently perform routine and non-routine testing. Performs laboratory testing within a GMP environment in support of final Bulk Product and stability, with experience in HPLC, ELISA, capillary electrophoresis, and other applicable analytical techniques. Can recognize laboratory technique or instrumental events that could impact the integrity of the test data. Writes and revises procedures with minimal guidance. Works under the general guidance of a supervisor but can effectively manage their own time to ensure completion of assigned duties.

Responsibilities:

• Performs basic and complex test methods as written to support product/material release with minimal error. This position will include ELISA and analytical separations testing.
• Interprets experimental data for conformance with product and material specifications.
• Understands, implements and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures, and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Writes and revises test methods.
• Can effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained on with minimal error.
• Makes recommendations for process improvements and works to help implement them within the laboratory.
• Assists in assay troubleshooting.
• Trains junior analysts on laboratory techniques in area of expertise.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or equivalent science degree.
• 5-8 years of related work experience in ELISA, HPLC, and/or capillary electrophoresis (CE) testing.
• Experience in working in a GMP regulated laboratory.
