Job description

Scientist I (Molecular Biology)

Are you a passionate molecular biologist looking to make a real impact in the world of cancer diagnostics? Join a pioneering team dedicated to advancing personalised medicine.

THE COMPANY

This innovative organisation is driving progress in molecular diagnostics through cutting-edge liquid biopsy technology. By capturing and analysing rare circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from blood, they provide actionable insights for cancer diagnosis and monitoring. Their collaborative environment fosters scientific growth, with a focus on developing and validating state-of-the-art diagnostic assays.

JOB ROLE

As a Scientist I in Molecular Biology, you will be a hands-on contributor to assay development and clinical diagnostic projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will apply your molecular biology expertise to support product development. You will be responsible for executing laboratory experiments, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to the delivery of projects within set timelines. Your role will also involve data analysis, reporting, and collaborating closely with other scientists to drive innovation.

ABOUT YOU

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • A Master's degree in Life Sciences with at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience in molecular biology.
  • Expertise in molecular biology techniques such as digital PCR (dPCR), quantitative PCR (qPCR), or next-generation sequencing (NGS).
  • Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., ISO13485, GLP, GMP).

If this sounds like the next step in your career, apply now.

I look forward to hearing from you!
