Job Introduction

Analytical Chemistry Scientist

Hoddesdon

We are looking for:

An Analytical Chemistry Scientist with a background in Analytical Chemistry combined with a solid expertise in HPLC and potentially GC, SFC, or other analytical methodologies utilized to characterize APIs. The role is to support chemistry projects, characterizing Starting Materials, Intermediates and APIs and collaborates effectively with Analytical Chemistry colleagues.

Key roles and responsibilities:

1. Analysing API's, Intermediates, Starting Materials and Raw Materials via HPLC and other analytical methods.
2. Working on assigned tasks to tight deadlines.
3. Able to step in and learn new techniques to support projects.
4. Ability to solve scientific problems.
5. Able to work effectively in a GMP laboratory.

Requirements:

1. BSc (Hons) or MSc in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry.
2. Relevant experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory.
3. Significant expertise in HPLC and/or UPLC methods.
4. Hands-on expertise and up-to-date knowledge of other analytical methodologies.
5. Experience working to GLP and GMP.
