Job Description Summary*

  • To maintain our clients Pharma&Biotech as a leading contract manufacturer through the development and optimization of new mammalian cell culture technologies. This lab-based role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to optimize and scale-up bioprocesses for biologics production.
Key Accountabilities

Define all key accountabilities (5-10), which the role will be expected to perform in short to medium future. Make sure that you list the accountability on top, which the role will be doing most frequently and which has most impact on the team. Begin each sentence with an action word, e.g. Provides appropriate coaching and performance feedback to all direct reports.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain lab-scale bioreactors for mammalian cell culture. Monitor bioprocess parameters and ensure optimal conditions for cell growth and productivity.
  • Working closely with the upstream R&D team; plan and execute several complex (non-routine) lab-scale fed-batch and perfusion bioreactor process development and optimization.
  • Engage in routine mammalian cell culture workflows involving media preparation, revival and subculture as required for an experiment.
  • Generate experimental results and review respective scientific documentation.
  • Help ensure lab procedures are adhered to and support safety assessments.
  • Perform other lab duties as assigned.
  • Conduct general housekeeping activities for smooth laboratory operation.
