Your role
We are looking to recruit an expert structural biologist or bioinformatician with a strong structural biology background and familiarity with scripting to join the PDBe curation team.
High-quality curation of new depositions is essential for PDB and EMDB to remain the authoritative global sources of biomacromolecular structure information. The work involves annotating preliminary PDB and EMDB submissions and extracting relevant biological information. PDBe staff annotates more than a third of all PDB and EMDB depositions worldwide. The work will also involve analysis of structure data and enriching PDBe tools and services. The data curators also participate in developing training material and delivery of workshops and in outreach activities.

Contract length: Grant based contract for a duration of 3 years
Salary: Grade 5 - monthly salary from £3,229 after tax but excluding pension contributions and health insurance. Plus generous benefits.
