We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving Secondary School in Leyton.

Role: Science Teacher

  • Location: Leyton
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Employment Type: Long Term, Full Time
  • Salary: £165 - £265 per day (depending on qualifications & experience)

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Professional references covering at least two years of employment

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Create engaging and challenging lesson plans that inspire students to excel
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support development
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to ensure student success
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
