Job description

Position: Science Teacher

Location: Wolverhampton School

Working Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week

Key Stages: KS3 and KS4

Pay: To scale (£150-£250 a day)

Your new role

The school are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their department. The successful teacher will be responsible for teaching Science to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This is to start immediately until Easter, with the possibility for it to extend into the Summer term.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
  2. Prepare students for Science examinations.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum.
  5. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  2. Degree in Science or a related field.
  3. Experience teaching Science at secondary school level in the UK.
  4. Strong communication and organisational skills.
